Computer Science spans diverse fields like virtual reality, AI, robotics, network databases, and vision systems, addressing major global challenges. This program combines core concepts with practical skills to investigate fascinating areas such as computer vision and data mining. You'll master techniques for achieving precise, efficient computations. The BA option integrates liberal arts with computer science, while the BSc incorporates science courses like physics and chemistry. International perspectives come through the iBA, iBSc, or dual-degree paths, with opportunities for co-op or internships to enrich your experience.
An optional co-application is highly encouraged for this program. Co-op becomes accessible to Computer Science students after their second year without needing a separate application. Both BA and BSc degrees deliver identical computer science and mathematics training. BA students broaden their education with liberal arts (humanities, social sciences), whereas BSc students focus on scientific disciplines (biology, chemistry, physics). Minors or Double Majors enable you to either sample or specialize in an additional field.
