The PhD Program offers an intensive, multi-year graduate curriculum designed to cultivate expert scholars in Humanities. Students complete their studies by producing an original dissertation that advances scholarly understanding in the field. This program welcomes qualified candidates seeking advanced interdisciplinary training in cultural studies within Humanities.
Typically, completing the PhD requires five to six years (15 to 18 terms). Doctoral candidates must maintain full-time enrollment status for at least six terms. All degree requirements must be satisfied within 18 terms (6 years) of registration, whether as full-time or part-time students, following the Faculty of Graduate Studies' enrollment regulations.
