The PhD program provides an extensive curriculum encompassing key academic viewpoints in health policy and equity. Designed to foster cutting-edge research and novel scholarship, the doctoral program creates opportunities to push forward the academic discipline of health policy and equity.

Doctoral candidates work closely with our cross-disciplinary faculty while completing their qualifying examinations and dissertation requirements. We actively promote student participation in academic conferences and the dissemination of their research through peer-reviewed journals. Through the Health Graduate Student Association and other university organizations, students gain access to valuable networking, collaborative learning, and engagement with fellow scholars and visiting experts.
