Our Space Engineering program provides the technical expertise needed to develop solutions for intricate challenges. You'll merge specialized technical knowledge with space technologies, applying systems engineering principles to create meaningful contributions. Gain hands-on experience from actual space missions, progressing from conceptual design through hardware/software development, production, evaluation, and orbital operations. This Space Engineering program holds accreditation from the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB).
Explore diverse systems including orbital mechanics, space optics, ground communication networks, and robotic systems. The program prepares you with essential technical capabilities to solve complex issues through space technologies while implementing systems engineering fundamentals. You'll acquire and apply skills in designing and overseeing interdisciplinary projects that facilitate exploration missions across our solar system.
Students need to have: Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD); Six 4U/4M courses, including ENG4U, NBE4U or FRA4U. Students from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Canada.
