Computer Science spans diverse fields like virtual reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, network databases, and vision systems, playing a crucial role in addressing global challenges. This program combines fundamental concepts with technical expertise to examine fascinating subjects such as computer vision systems and data mining techniques. You'll also master methodologies for achieving precise, efficient computations. The BA degree integrates liberal arts with computer science studies, while the BSc incorporates science courses including physics, chemistry, and biology. For an international perspective, consider the iBA, iBSc, or dual-degree options. Additionally, you can enrich your education through co-op placements or industrial internships.
An optional co-application is available for this program and is highly encouraged. All Computer Science students can participate in co-op opportunities after their second year without needing a separate application.
Both BA and BSc degrees provide identical computer science and mathematics training. The BA program supplements this core with Liberal Arts courses (such as humanities and social sciences), while the BSc focuses on science electives (including biology, chemistry, and physics). You can broaden your academic experience by pursuing a Minor or Double Major in another discipline.
