Our program adopts a child-focused perspective rooted in children's rights principles within this emerging academic discipline. You'll examine diverse aspects of childhood experiences worldwide through instruction from renowned faculty and leading scholars.
Our multidisciplinary, humanities-driven curriculum incorporates perspectives from sociology, psychology, literature, history, anthropology, and human rights studies. You'll develop expertise and practical skills for careers in child and youth-oriented environments. This program also provides pathways to advanced studies and professional opportunities in advocacy, counseling, education, healthcare, global development, and other related fields.
Students need to have: Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD); Six 4U/4M courses, including ENG4U, NBE4U or FRA4U. Students from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Canada.
