As technology grows increasingly advanced, the expertise needed in computing careers evolves as well. Laurier's Master of Applied Computing (MAC) provides an advanced computing education, combining theoretical understanding with hands-on experience in mobile computing, enterprise systems, data mining, and machine learning.
The MAC program distinguishes you in the competitive job market, demonstrating to employers your mastery of cutting-edge technical concepts and your ability to develop innovative technological solutions.

We foster a "dream it, build it" approach where classroom theory transforms into real-world applications through projects or co-op placements. While traditional computing master's graduates often possess deep technical knowledge but limited practical experience, our program bridges that gap. By incorporating case studies, project-driven coursework, and co-op opportunities, the MAC equips you with practical competencies that theory-centric programs simply cannot match.
