The Department of Biology provides specialized courses in various disciplines including Animal Behavior, Biodiversity and Conservation, Biology, Ecosystem Health, Genetics, and Genetics with Biochemistry. Synthetic Biology represents a cutting-edge interdisciplinary domain that employs genetic and biochemical techniques to engineer innovative biological systems with customized features. The Honors Specialization in Synthetic Biology leverages academic and research strengths from both the Biochemistry and Biology Departments. This program is collaboratively managed by the Biology and Biochemistry Departments.

A minimum of a C grade in 5 GCSE or IGCSE or Ordinary Levels or equivalent in academic subjects.
A minimum of 4.0 full senior academic courses reported on your academic transcript.
A minimum SAT combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing plus Math score of 1190 OR a minimum ACT composite score of 24.
The score reports must be official and come to the Admissions Office directly from the College Board or ACT.
