The foundational medical sciences examine the molecular, cellular, and systemic structure of the human body, along with its biological processes for adapting to environmental shifts and illnesses. The Medical Sciences Program culminates in a four-year BMSc degree, a collaborative initiative between the Faculty of Science and Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, tailored for students (testimonial) pursuing in-depth exploration of one or more fundamental medical sciences. This interdisciplinary program emphasizes applying scientific knowledge to diagnosing, preventing, and treating human diseases.
