This module focuses on the computational elements of bioinformatics, while also equipping students with fundamental bioscience knowledge to understand the applications of computing. The Bioinformatics Honors Specialization results in a degree certified by the Computer Science Accreditation Council, the educational division of the Canadian Information Processing Society, meeting its interdisciplinary program standards. The Bioinformatics Honors Specialization is exclusively available within Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree programs.
