Upon finishing Western Engineering's Common First Year, students can join the Chemical Engineering program. By the third academic year, learners may select between two specializations: General Chemical Engineering or Biochemical and Environmental Engineering.
This specialization covers core chemical engineering concepts alongside biochemical and environmental studies, creating an integrated learning experience across all three disciplines. The curriculum explores renewable energy sources, bioenergy and biofuels production, biotechnology applications, and environmental protection methods. Participants also acquire comprehensive process design skills by merging and implementing key principles from chemical, biochemical, and environmental engineering fields.
