Western's Spanish program offers diverse pathways reflecting the vibrant cultural legacy of the Hispanic world, ranging from language courses with community service learning opportunities to studies in literature, linguistics, arts, music, and digital humanities. All programs begin with Spanish 1030: Spanish for Beginners, leading to five specialized tracks: Honors Specialization in Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures, Specialization in Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures, Major, Minor, and Certificate options.

Upon completing this program, you'll gain strong Spanish language proficiency and a nuanced appreciation of the Hispanic world's diversity, along with the historical and geographical connections that bind us. You'll have examined influential works in literature, visual arts, music, and traditions, understanding their global impact. Qualification Requirements

A minimum average of B grade in 3 distinct A-Levels or 4 distinct AS-Levels. Predicted Results - You must complete the GCE A Level Predicted Results Form.
A minimum of a C grade in 5 GCSE or IGCSE or Ordinary Levels or equivalent in academic subjects.
A minimum of 4.0 full senior academic courses reported on your academic transcript.
A minimum SAT combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing plus Math score of 1190 OR a minimum ACT composite score of 24.
The score reports must be official and come to the Admissions Office directly from the College Board or ACT.
IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 6.5, A minimum of 6.0 in each section.
TOEFL IBT - A minimum overall score of 83, A minimum of 20 in each section.
PTE - A minimum overall score of 58, A minimum of 56 in each section.
