This program equips students with the skills to create heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) systems for contemporary structures.
Graduates gain the ability to design, maintain, and control these systems to ensure optimal indoor air quality and comfort across diverse building types. Learners utilize engineering concepts to design, manage, and evaluate electrical systems, lighting, plumbing, fire safety features, and HVAC&R components in modern architecture. During their studies, participants complete internships with industry partners and tour major mechanical installations like those at the Biodôme Complex, Desjardins Center, Place Ville Marie, and financial institutions.
