After finishing this program, graduates will gain the ability to- Evaluate various governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools along with security solutions, determining the best options for organizational implementation. Utilize Project Management (PM) methodologies to plan and oversee projects. Construct a compelling business case for cybersecurity initiatives and deliver persuasive presentations. Identify new technologies and assess them through suitable evaluation frameworks. Craft and deliver clear written and verbal IT security communications tailored to specific audiences.
Throughout the program, students will interact with course content via practical exercises and real-world IT scenarios, including industry-based examples. Additional learning approaches include case studies, group discussions on current IT developments, demonstrations, and reflective exercises.
Establish and refine security-related internal controls by analyzing risks identified through stakeholder input and evidence.
Analyze organizational weaknesses to create or update security policies, standards, and procedures.
Implement various security and compliance frameworks to assist in audit processes (both internal and external) and meet certification requirements. Develop a comprehensive incident response strategy, defining the responsibilities of a cybersecurity incident response team.
