The two-year Environmental & Social Change program immerses students in examining humanity's relationship with nature through innovative research blending natural and social sciences. This distinctive cross-disciplinary curriculum cultivates expertise, practical skills, and professional competencies needed to tackle intricate environmental challenges. Featuring tailored academic tracks, the research-driven program presents three graduate degree choices: Master of Science, Master of Arts, and Master of Environment - all integrating human-environment research with analytical methods and sustainability approaches for ecosystems, policies, and communities.
Participants concentrate their studies where three disciplines converge: human geography, natural sciences, and environmental studies. While selecting a specialized degree track, all students engage in training that connects scientific, social, and humanistic research approaches. Program graduates gain the ability to translate knowledge across fields, enabling effective communication between scientists, policymakers, and social researchers in both directions.
