The Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences offers cross-disciplinary programs that take a comprehensive approach to environmental understanding. Bachelor of Science students can select among four specialized tracks:
Forest Ecology - exploration of woodland ecosystems, biological systems, and sustainable forestry practices, along with forests' significance in broader natural resource conservation
Forest Policy and Management – examination of forest ecosystems and biology, emphasizing governance structures, traditional practices, and stakeholder involvement in forestry decision-making
Chemistry - investigation of environmental chemistry fundamentals, concentrating on organic, inorganic, and biochemical processes
Global Environmental Systems - analysis of Earth's biogeochemical cycles, sustainable land use strategies, and anthropogenic effects on ecosystems
