The Applied Computer Science program equips students with expertise in key domains: Programming Essentials (object-oriented design, event-driven programming, algorithmic thinking), Data Systems (database architecture, information modeling, data storage solutions, SQL), Software Development (requirements analysis, system design, development methodologies, team leadership), System Software, Network Technologies (web development, network infrastructure, cybersecurity), User Experience (interface design and implementation), and AI Foundations (Machine Learning). Our collaborative curriculum enhances teamwork abilities, builds interpersonal skills, and cultivates professional assurance. Over four years, students complete a capstone software initiative partnering with regional tech firms. This degree bridges academic concepts with hands-on application, sharpening problem-solving abilities and technical proficiency. The program also serves as strong preparation for advanced studies in computational fields.
