Whether attending Winnipeg theaters or viewing local film/TV productions, you'll witness the outstanding achievements of our acting alumni. What begins as curiosity for many students often transforms into a vocation as they progress through our demanding performance curriculum.
Our acting program focuses on cultivating immediacy, presence, physical/verbal boldness, alongside structured technique, intellectual growth, cultural awareness, and professional standards. The curriculum spans acting methods, movement/voice development, diverse performance genres, original theater creation, stage combat, and classical acting. Students pursuing the Honours Acting concentration face heightened challenges, including participation in three public performances.
You are a current high school student studying at a school in another Canadian province, and expect to graduate from grade 12 (or equivalent).
Test of English as a Foreign Language: Requirement/Score: Internet-based - Achieve a minimum score of 86 with no less than 20 in each component.
