The thesis-focused Master of Science in Computer Science equips students with essential expertise for doctoral programs or professional roles in the dynamic computing and technology sectors, including the fast-evolving artificial intelligence domain, as detailed in the MSc in CS – AI specialization. The program combines specialized coursework in computing technologies, applications, and theory with research seminars, culminating in an original thesis project.
Participants in this thesis-based Master's program have the option to gain work experience through Co-operative education opportunities.
Both MSc in Computer Science and MSc in Computer Science-AI students can complete four or eight-month professional placements, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge software development and AI technologies at domestic and international firms.
Our MSc Co-op students have secured positions with leading tech companies such as IBM and Blackberry, among other industry leaders.
