Research Focus
The study of turbomachinery, internal fluid dynamics, and transient effects within these systems, including aeroacoustic interactions.
Primary investigations center on fan and compressor aerodynamic-acoustic performance.
Concentration on computational fluid dynamics simulations supplemented by experimental validation when required.
Specialized approach involves streamlined modeling of fans and compressors through body force techniques in numerical analyses.
Dedicated to addressing industry-relevant challenges and equipping industrial collaborators with fundamental understanding of governing flow physics for key phenomena.
Proficiency in Fluent and CFX (flow simulation tools), Pointwise (mesh generation), along with CFD-Post and MATLAB (data analysis).

Qualification Requirements

Graduates of recognized universities may apply for admission. In general, admission to graduate study is granted only to those students who have good academic records and who are adequately prepared to undertake graduate work in their field of specialization. In particular, an applicant for admission to a graduate program leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy must have either a Master's degree or, in exceptional cases, a four-year Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent; with a minimum average of 77% (or equivalent). Possession of the minimum requirements does not ensure admission. Transcripts, IBT-83 Minimum IELTS: 6.5.
