The Drama and Communication, Media and Film program is an innovative interdisciplinary offering combining resources from the School of Dramatic Art and the Department of Communication, Media and Film. This dual major equips students with both theoretical understanding and hands-on training across both fields.

Dramatic Art studies encompass various aspects including costume and set design, filmmaking, theatrical production, performance studies, and theater history.

Communication, Media and Film requirements deliver analytical frameworks for examining media institutions, content creation, and the social, cultural, and economic impacts of modern communication systems. With advisor approval, students may opt for digital media production courses.

After foundational studies, the program allows specialization in theater production, performance, media analysis, or digital content creation. Upper-level students can access internship positions and Work Study programs with University Players.
