The department provides a dedicated management engineering bachelor's program and a management sciences elective for students in other engineering disciplines. Following Waterloo's distinctive approach, all undergraduates participate in cooperative education, completing up to six 4-month work placements alternating with academic terms. This hands-on experience strengthens classroom knowledge, delivering a comprehensive, real-world education.
