Our doctoral program provides students with a robust grounding in economic principles and quantitative methods, along with diverse application areas. The curriculum covers specialized training in public policy analysis, workforce economics, macroeconomic theory, financial economics, statistical modeling, resource economics, and environmental/health economics. We foster a collaborative environment with an open-door policy designed to inspire and support graduate researchers throughout their academic journey. Doctoral candidates receive financial support for twelve academic terms, with opportunities for both research and teaching assistantships. A select number of instructor roles are available for those seeking to enhance their pedagogical expertise. The Economics Department prioritizes both scholarly research and instructional quality, with faculty publications appearing in top-tier economics journals.
