The Diploma in Indigenous Language Revitalization (DILR) supports individuals aiming to enhance their Indigenous language abilities, deepen their understanding of language revitalization contexts, and acquire foundational teaching techniques.
This undergraduate diploma spans two years and may incorporate the Certificate in Indigenous Language Revitalization (CILR) or the Certificate in Indigenous Language Proficiency (CILP), while also offering a pathway to the Bachelor of Education in Indigenous Language Revitalization (BEDILR) and BC teaching credentials.
Delivered through community-based (language-specific) partnerships, the program follows a cohort model where students progress together.
