The Master of Studies in Law (MSL) program caters to scholars without legal backgrounds who seek to incorporate legal perspectives into their academic work. This specialized program serves experienced academics and researchers in law-related fields who want to integrate legal knowledge into their scholarly pursuits. Ideal candidates possess an advanced degree, preferably a PhD, from an accredited institution and have shown exceptional academic achievement in a discipline connected to law. Qualification Requirements

Eligible applicants must hold a graduate degree, ideally a doctorate, from a recognized university, and must have achieved the equivalent of a University of Toronto B+ standing in the final year of their graduate degree. MSL applicants must demonstrate a high level of scholarship in a discipline related to law.
Only a few individuals are accepted into this unique program every year.
Grades from other degrees obtained will be reviewed, but the admitting grades for the MSL program are those obtained in the final year the doctorate degree, or master's degree (in exceptional circumstances).

TOEFL (including TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition): 600 with a TWE of 5 on the paper-based scale, 100 on the internet-based test with at least 24 in each section.
IELTS Academic: 7.5overall with at least 7.0 in each component
CAEL: 70 overall with at least 70 in each section
