The Department of Physiology provides advanced degree programs for both Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy candidates. Investigative work spans from genetic studies to whole-body systems, covering specialized fields such as hormone disorders, reproductive biology, prenatal development, childbirth processes, neural hormone interactions, heart-lung function, digestive system movements, sensory systems, movement coordination, brain maturation and degeneration, cellular communication pathways, nerve cell activity, microscopic structures, and brain adaptability. Develop specialized expertise in human physiology, gaining thorough insights into bodily functions across all scales - from microscopic molecules to complete biological systems.
