This program offers comprehensive training in both theoretical and practical aspects of clinical and school psychology, fulfilling the academic prerequisites for registration as a Psychological Associate with Ontario's College of Psychologists. Gain expertise in psychological evaluation, therapeutic techniques, psychosocial interventions, professional consultation, and preventive strategies. Students can engage in research and clinical practice involving diverse age groups, from infants to adults, as well as family systems.
Our integrated MA and PhD programs in School & Clinical Child Psychology (SCCP) form a cohesive curriculum that satisfies the academic standards set by the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) for Psychological Associate (MA) or Psychologist (PhD) certification. Qualification Requirements
An appropriate bachelor's degree in psychology, defined as 6.0 full-course equivalents (FCEs) in psychology, including 0.5 FCE in child development and 1.0 FCE in research methods/statistics (of which at least 0.5 FCE must be at the third or fourth-year levels) and at least 3.0 FCEs at the second, third-, or fourth-year levels. The usual admission standard is equivalency to a University of Toronto A– or better.
Most applicants will have evidence of relevant professional experience and research experience.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Required score: 7.0 (Academic) with at least 6.5 for each component.
Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT) Including Writing and Speaking Sections: Overall score: 93; Writing: 22; Speaking: 22
Academic English Level 60: Required score: B
Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Online: Required score: 70 minimum total with at least 60 in each part.
The Certificate of Proficiency in English (COPE): Required score: 76 minimum total with at least 22 in each component and 32 in writing
