The Master of Architecture post-professional program is an intensive design and research curriculum tailored for those who already possess a professional architecture degree. This pathway offers a demanding yet rewarding environment for individuals aiming to expand and specialize their architectural education. It welcomes applicants from varied backgrounds, especially those demonstrating potential for leadership in both professional practice and academia.
Admitted students will identify a focused research topic and develop a comprehensive study plan incorporating field courses, seminars, thesis development, and elective options. The curriculum centers on a design-research thesis initiative. Throughout their studies, participants collaborate extensively with faculty mentors specializing in their chosen field, while benefiting from the perspectives of top professionals, theorists, and visiting critics. This program coordinates with the post-professional Master of Landscape Architecture to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, creating a more dynamic learning experience across both fields.
