The J.D./M.B.A. Program results from an enduring partnership between the Faculty of Law and Rotman School of Management, combining academic research and instruction. This dual-degree opportunity allows students passionate about the intersection of law and business to pursue management studies alongside their legal education.
Upon finishing the four-year integrated curriculum, graduates receive both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration degree - a combination that would typically demand five years if pursued separately. Participants begin with the J.D. program's first year, transition to the M.B.A. coursework in their second year, and spend the remaining two years taking classes from both disciplines.
An appropriate master’s degree or, in some programs, an appropriate bachelor’s degree, with high academic standing from a recognized university is required.
