The JD/PhD (Political Science) Program caters to students passionate about exploring the connections between political science and legal studies. This combined program enables participants to fulfill JD requirements and advance to the PhD candidacy stage a year faster than pursuing the degrees separately. Graduates earn their JD after four years of study, with the PhD awarded upon dissertation completion post-fourth year. This interdisciplinary initiative is a collaboration between the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law and Political Science Department.
