The University of Toronto Mississauga's French programs provide students with diverse course options that form the foundation for exploring French language and culture in Canada and across Francophone regions. These academic offerings concentrate on language acquisition, linguistic analysis (including language structure and bilingualism), literature and cultural studies, as well as French language instruction.
Participants in French Studies programs can gain practical experience through internships, applying their academic knowledge in real-world settings. Placement opportunities are available with businesses, regional media outlets, or community groups. The submission deadline is February 28th. Interested students must submit a letter outlining their qualifications for the internship program. Eligible candidates (required to be in their fourth year with specific FRE course completion and GPA requirements) will be invited for interviews. Selection will consider academic performance, relevant experience, and interview results.
