The Arts Management program caters to students passionate about both artistic creation and the business aspects of the arts. It equips students with essential knowledge and competencies for successful careers in various arts organizations (including theaters, opera companies, orchestras, galleries, and museums), arts councils, government agencies, and prepares them for advanced studies in fields like Arts Management, Cultural Policy, Arts Education, or Museum Studies. Participants can select between the Specialist Program in Arts Management or the Major Program in Arts and Media Management, with guidance from their ACM Program Manager for proper academic planning.
Although the curriculum primarily focuses on nonprofit arts models, students develop versatile skills such as critical analysis, organizational strategy, marketing, fundraising, and policy development—applicable across diverse sectors. Graduates may pursue opportunities in commercial entertainment industries (music, film, TV) or other fields requiring comparable expertise.
The Standard Stream offers comprehensive undergraduate training in Arts Management through coursework, excluding intensive internships. This pathway particularly benefits students with prior hands-on experience in arts administration or alternative practical backgrounds.
