This professional doctoral program builds upon faculty specializations at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, covering Public Health Sciences and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. It aims to meet evolving public health demands for tackling intricate challenges. Students will gain expertise in four core competency domains outlined by the Council on Education for Public Health: (1) Data & Analysis, (2) Leadership, Management, Governance, (3) Policy & Programs, and (4) Education & Workforce Development. The DrPH prepares graduates for senior positions (such as leadership and knowledge dissemination roles) in public health policy and practice environments.
