Academic programs may include collaborations with various departments including Astronomy & Astrophysics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Information Science, Management, Mathematics, Philosophy, Psychology, Public Health, and Sociology. A vibrant seminar program runs throughout the year, with active involvement from graduate students encouraged. Prospective PhD candidates can indicate up to three preferred supervisors during their application process, with final supervisor assignments made by the department upon admission, aligning with students' research interests.
This intensive program typically spans 12 academic terms (four years) of continuous enrollment, with a maximum completion timeframe of six years.
