The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition provides both Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs in pharmaceutical sciences, along with advanced clinical and community practice. Our graduate students enjoy the unique chance to generate innovative research, push the boundaries of pharmacy practice, and drive healthcare improvements at local, national, and global levels.
Students can choose from diverse specialization options. Faculty expertise spans drug and vaccine development, pharmaceutical chemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, nanotechnology, drug metabolism, clinical pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical education, health economics, and medication outcome studies. Additionally, the college participates in the Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program.
A four-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study, or,
A three-year first cycle undergraduate degree, in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study, from an institution that meets the criteria set forth in the Bologna Declaration, will be acceptable as the equivalent of an undergraduate honours degree.
A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (USask grade system equivalent) in the last two years of full-time study (e.g. 60 credit units USask equivalent).
Demonstrated ability for independent thought, advanced study, and research.
