The Vaccinology and Immunotherapeutics Program offers Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) candidates the chance to explore groundbreaking developments in vaccinology and infectious disease research. This program blends cross-disciplinary academic training with hands-on learning, guided by leading specialists in two key areas:
Scientific Foundations – Examining the fundamental biological principles behind vaccine and immunologic development
Public Health and Societal Considerations – Investigating the intricate social, healthcare, legal, and ethical challenges surrounding immunization and immunotherapeutic applications.
Participants benefit from access to distinguished faculty members and top-tier research facilities such as the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM), the Canadian Light Source (CLS), and the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization (VIDO).
