The Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy (Ph.D.) provides exceptional students with educational and research experiences to expand understanding and push the boundaries of public policy studies. Graduates of this program will be equipped to educate future public service leaders and perform policy and management research for governmental agencies, corporations, research institutions, and other organizations.

The Ph.D. curriculum combines coursework (concluding with a comprehensive examination) with developing, writing, and defending a dissertation. The program is structured to allow completion in a minimum of three years for full-time students. Full-time participants typically qualify for financial assistance. Each admitted student receives guidance from both a research advisor and an advisory committee.
