The Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs in Precision Oral and Systemic Health equip students with the expertise, perspectives, and competencies needed to develop into highly skilled professionals. These programs enable participants to create and execute research projects examining oral health and investigating the interconnected relationship between systemic health and oral conditions. Participants will engage with cutting-edge precision methodologies while benefiting from comprehensive academic instruction and hands-on learning experiences.
Research areas within this program maintain an oral health focus while spanning diverse fields including biomedical sciences, precision medicine, population health strategies, health policy development, Indigenous and vulnerable community health initiatives, and bioengineering innovations. Students will gain exposure to advanced research methodologies utilizing modern technologies, develop analytical reasoning skills, consider ethical implications, and explore practical clinical implementations within authentic healthcare settings.
A Master's degree, or equivalent, from a recognized university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study.
A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (USask grade system equivalent) in the Master's degree.
Demonstrated ability for independent thought, advanced study, and research.
