Organization Studies explores how people collaborate to establish organizational and management frameworks, and how these frameworks evolve into institutions. The Levene Master of Science in Organization Studies provides students with sophisticated research capabilities and comprehensive expertise in organizational research. This program is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about building a research-oriented career in business.
This Master of Science degree emphasizes research and requires a thesis. Participants will undertake various methodology and subject-specific courses, culminating in a dissertation. The Levene Organization Studies program equips graduates for leadership roles in organizational research settings.
Applicants are normally required to have completed a four-year undergraduate degree with an acceptable grade point average equivalent to Canadian 80%.
A minimum GMAT score of 600 or a combined verbal and quantitative GRE score of 315 is normally required.
Applicants are normally required to have successfully completed (with a minimum grade of 70%) the following undergraduate courses (or their equivalents) within five years of applying: BUS 260 (Introduction to Organizational Behavior) or PSYC 220 (Social Psychology), STAT 200 or STAT 160 (Introductory Statistics), and an upper year advanced statistics and/or research methods course (e.g., PSYC 405, BUS 413, STAT 354, SOC 404, etc.).

The Levene MSc program starts once each year, in September. Applications are considered on an ongoing basis, but to ensure your application can be processed in time for your desired start year, prospective students are encouraged to submit completed applications by March 1.
