The University of Prince Edward Island's Faculty of Business provides an interdisciplinary program that awards both a Certificate and Diploma in Public Administration. Designed primarily for current government employees at federal, provincial, and municipal levels seeking career advancement, the program also welcomes other interested applicants. Classes are scheduled to accommodate working professionals' availability. The program focuses on three key goals: cultivating specific skills while fostering awareness of interpersonal and organizational dynamics in public service;
preparing individuals for policy-making and administrative roles within government; and
providing practical tools for informed and impactful decision-making.

Successful completion of Grade 12 examinations in a University Preparatory Program with an overall average of at least 70% (75% for Quebec Secondary V students) in the following subjects:

Mathematics,
any two Social Studies, Languages or Sciences,
and one other academic course.
Applicants without English proficiency test scores, or with scores below the minimum, may be admitted conditionally (NOT available to applicants seeking admission to Nursing, Radiography, Education or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine), and will be assessed by the EAP Coordinator upon arrival.
IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 6.5 with no band below 6, TOEFL paper-based test - 550 with minimum TWE of 5.5, TOEFL internet-based test - 80 with minimum of 20 in each category.
