The Accounting Certificate is designed for non-business students meeting the Business program's admission criteria. Typically, applicants need to have completed Grade 12 in a University Preparatory curriculum with a minimum 70% average across English, Mathematics, any two Social Studies, Languages, or Sciences, plus one additional academic subject.
Candidates with relevant professional experience may also qualify for admission. Graduates holding a BBA, BBST, or BBTH degree without an Accounting Specialization can return to pursue this certificate. This program offers foundational coursework that contributes toward the Chartered Professional Accountant designation requirements.

Successful completion of Grade 12 examinations in a University Preparatory Program with an overall average of at least 70% (75% for Quebec Secondary V students) in the following subjects:

Applicants without English proficiency test scores, or with scores below the minimum, may be admitted conditionally (NOT available to applicants seeking admission to Nursing, Radiography, Education or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine), and will be assessed by the EAP Coordinator upon arrival.
