The University of Prince Edward Island's Bachelor of Environmental Studies program teaches students to identify environmental links across disciplines and examine contemporary ecological issues. Through academic study, fieldwork, and community engagement, you'll pioneer creative approaches to sustainability that create meaningful change at personal, local, and global levels. Since environmental challenges transcend conventional academic categories, they demand multifaceted solutions incorporating scientific, technical, social, and humanistic viewpoints. Successful completion of Grade 12 examinations in a University Preparatory Program with an overall average of at least 70% (75% for Quebec Secondary V students) in the following subjects:

any 3 other academic courses. Grade 12 math recommended.
The language of instruction at the University of Prince Edward Island is English. All academically admissible applicants, regardless of their country of origin or citizenship status, are required to demonstrate proficiency in the English language prior to undertaking studies at the University of Prince Edward Island. Applicants without English proficiency test scores, or with scores below the minimum, may be admitted conditionally (NOT available to applicants seeking admission to Nursing, Radiography, Education or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine), and will be assessed by the EAP Coordinator upon arrival.
