The Faculty of Education provides a program with personalized supervision, guidance, and support for every student. It fosters an inclusive atmosphere where all participants are motivated to engage actively, embrace challenges, and feel appreciated as valued members of the learning community. The strong mentor-student bond is frequently highlighted as the defining feature of UPEI's education program. Furthermore, education students are urged to approach teaching objectives and methodologies with both analytical and innovative thinking, considering perspectives from local to worldwide contexts.

Students can specialize their studies in either elementary (K-6) or intermediate/secondary (7-12) education levels. This distinctive curriculum includes diverse coursework, French linguistic and cultural immersion, and extensive practical training (18 weeks), equipping future educators with essential competencies for contemporary French as a second language instruction.
