At UPEI's Political Science Department, students can study four key areas: Canadian Politics, Political Theory, Comparative Politics, and International Relations. The program allows students to pursue either a major or minor in Political Science. Opting for political science at UPEI offers several advantages, including a wide range of courses taught by knowledgeable, passionate professors who are actively involved in research. The department's intimate, collaborative environment fosters strong connections between students, faculty, and senior peers. With small class sizes and advanced seminar courses, students gain exceptional opportunities to refine their research, writing, and public speaking abilities.
