The master's program aims to train registered nurses for advanced practice roles and/or further doctoral education. Program graduates gain the skills to take on leadership positions that enhance nursing care quality across diverse healthcare environments. Through a strong foundation in theory and research, the curriculum tackles health challenges faced by individuals, families, groups, populations, and communities. This Master of Science in Nursing is exclusively offered as an in-person program, with no distance learning options available.
French-speaking minorities in Canada's western and eastern coastal regions, as well as the Territories, receive special advantages through the Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS). As a nationwide organization, CNFS includes ten post-secondary institutions that provide French-language healthcare education across multiple disciplines.
