This initiative empowers educators to refine their instructional abilities, enabling them to supplement their core certifications with specialized qualifications approved by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).
Educators can pursue Additional Qualification Courses (AQ Courses) to broaden their expertise in specific teaching levels or subjects, while Additional Basic Qualification (ABQ) courses are designed to deepen understanding of curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation within particular educational divisions.
