Students interested in earning a Master of Computer Science (MCS) or Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science (PhD) can enroll in collaborative programs between the University of Ottawa's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and Carleton University's School of Computer Science, administered by the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Computer Science (OCICS).
OCICS oversees these programs and facilitates cooperation between the universities in graduate-level computer science education. Alongside faculty from both computer science departments, the Institute includes members with computer science backgrounds from various other academic units.

Qualification Requirements
To be eligible, candidates must:
Have a bachelor of science degree with honours in computer science (or equivalent), with a minimum average of B (70%).
