The School of Political Studies within the Faculty of Social Science provides graduate-level education culminating in Master of Arts (MA) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Public Administration.
The master's programs primarily focus on delivering cutting-edge theoretical frameworks and conceptual understanding, empowering students to examine and interpret public administration systems while acquiring practical competencies for thriving in dynamic organizational settings. A strong emphasis is placed on cultivating research capabilities.
The MA curriculum seeks to acquaint students with rigorous knowledge-generation methodologies while enhancing their aptitude for both fundamental and practical research. Additionally, participants will refine their ability to derive actionable insights from research to effectively fulfill their roles as public sector leaders and policy evaluators.
The doctoral program is structured to equip students for careers in academia and advanced research. Each program element (coursework, comprehensive exams, thesis proposal, dissertation, and defense) is meticulously designed to foster independent, high-caliber research skills in social sciences.
These programs feature two specialized tracks in public administration: public sector management and policy analysis. While distinct, these concentrations represent complementary facets of public administration scholarship.
