The Philosophy Department provides Master's programs (both thesis and non-thesis options) and Doctoral programs in Philosophy, available in English or French. Following university guidelines, students can choose to complete their studies in either official language.
The Department is involved in joint programs for Feminist and Gender Studies (MA level), Medieval and Renaissance Studies (MA level), and Canadian Studies (PhD level). Additional details about these programs can be found under "Admission Requirements."
The MA-level Collaborative program in Feminist and Gender Studies caters to students from various fields including arts, education, health sciences, law, social sciences, and counseling/spirituality (through Saint Paul University) who wish to incorporate Feminist and Gender Studies perspectives into their primary discipline. Participants earn a master's degree in their main field with an added "specialization in Feminist and Gender Studies."
