The Faculty of Engineering provides a dynamic research atmosphere where mechanical, civil, chemical, electrical, computer, and software engineering disciplines intersect with computer science in a distinctive collaborative framework.
Founded in 1983, the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Electrical and Computer Engineering (OCIECE) merges the research capabilities of the University of Ottawa's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) with Carleton University's Electronics and Systems and Computer Engineering departments.
Graduate students can pursue Master of Applied Science (MASc), Master of Engineering (MEng), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering through the Institute.
OCIECE also participates in the interdisciplinary Science, Society and Policy program.
Have Bachelor’s degree with a specialization, or a major in electrical and computer engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum average of 70% (B).
